On July 18th Teresa Kincad found her son not breathing and called police who found her sitting next to her son. When paramedics arrived, Theresa told officers her son fell from a bed they noticed that the injuries did not appear consistent with the baby falling off of a bed.

 

Eight month old Zachariah was found not breathing by his mother Kincad and was immediately taken to Lea Regional Medical Center. However, he died at University Medical Center. He had suffered internal and external injuries. Kincaid admitted to throwing her son to the floor and kicking him. She was sentenced to 15 years in prison.
