Abuse Angels
Remembered. Honored. Never Forgotten.
About
Abuse Angels was created in memory of Phabin Phillip Lucero and every child whose life was taken by abuse.
What began as one little boy’s story became a mission to remember many. Phabin is the heart behind Abuse Angels. His life and his loss inspired me to create a place where children whose lives were taken by abuse and neglect would never become just another statistic, headline, or forgotten case.
Every child remembered here had a name. They had a face, a personality, people who loved them, and a life that mattered. Their stories deserve to be told with dignity not only to remember how their lives ended, but to honor the lives they lived. Abuse Angels is a digital memorial dedicated to preserving their names and stories while raising awareness about child abuse and neglect. Each Angel’s memorial is created using available information, photographs when appropriate and available, and reliable sources whenever possible. As new information becomes available, older memorials may also be updated so their stories are preserved as accurately and respectfully as possible.
While the List of Angels memorializes children whose lives were lost, Abuse Angels also recognizes the countless children who survive abuse and neglect every day. Their lives, their safety, and their futures matter.
My hope is that every person who visits this site leaves remembering at least one child’s name and understanding why protecting children cannot wait.
Remember their names.
Tell their stories.
Protect the children who are still here.
For Phabin. For every Angel. For every child.
