On December 5, 2014 Emergency services responded to a call about the welfare of a five year old boy. On arrival, police found Scott with a significant injury to his body, he was later pronounced dead at the scene. Scott was killed by his mother in his home on December 4th or 5th of 2014. She ripped Scott’s heart from his body. She was alleged to have struck him on the head, neck and body with knives.

 

Prosecutors accepted her not guilty plea after her lawyers lodged a special defense of insanity. After Ms. Chiriseri was diagnosed with a schizophreniform psychotic illness. Farai Chiriseri, was deemed insane at the time of the incident, and will not stand trial for her son’s death.
