Abuse Angels
Commited to the end of child abuse. . .
Mackenzy Jane Woolfsmith
On May 2, 2012 Mackenzy was dropped off at day home ran by Caitlin Jarosz. Her parents did not know this was the last time they would see their little girl alive. Later that day emergency workers were called to the day home where they found 21 month old Mackenzy Woolfsmith not breathing, she was rushed to the hospital.
The next day, her parents decided to take her off life support. I know from experience this was the hardest decision of their lives. Caitlin Jarosz the operator of the day home, which is no longer in business, was the only adult that was in the home at the time Mackenzy injuries were inflicted. Initially, Jarosz claimed Mackenzy had fallen down the stairs but after an autopsy and multiple consultations with different child abuse experts, police have said the story of a fall doesn't hold up.
Mackenzy died of multiple blunt force trauma to the head. Police discovered that a year before Mackenzy injuries, a little girl that was in Jarosz care had a broken arm and other injuries after being in the day home. Caitlin Jarosz was charged with second degree murder. Jarosz is due back in court in August and is not allowed to be around children under the age of 14. I could not currently find any sentencing information on Caitlin Jarosz.
