On October 19th police responded to the report of a child not breathing. Emma Baldwin was left in the care of Juwan Moore who was the boyfriend of her mother Brandie Baldwin. They claimed she had choked and was not breathing. She was rushed to the hospital where she died a few short days later. Doctors said there was no way Emma had choked. They found injuries on Emma including bruises on her face and chin and on her back, buttocks, and both arms. Her right arm was broken and she had trauma to her head.

 

Police arrested Juwan Moore and charged him with capital murder as well as two counts of felony child abuse for the other two children ages six and nine who also lived with them. Brandie Baldwin was charged with second degree murder and three counts of felony child abuse and neglect. When police searched the house they found synthetic drugs, pills, needles, and other drug paraphernalia. Brandie is active on Facebook and websites dedicated to Emma. She takes no responsibility for what she has done.
