Abuse Angels
Commited to the end of child abuse. . .
China Marie Davis
China Davis was placed in foster care when she was a little over a year old within 16 days, the signs of abuse were apparent. China died not long after that. In just ten months China had endured 15 broken bones. She died of a ruptured intestine, consistent with a kick to the stomach. China's autopsy revealed two broken collarbones, a broken left arm, a broken right rib, two fractures of the left upper arm, a fracture of the right upper arm, a broken left wrist, a broken left hand, a broken left forearm, a broken right wrist, a broken right forearm, fractures of both thigh bones and a compression fracture of the spine.
Dorothy Livingston took China into her home in December of 1992. She had twice asked child protective services to remove China from her home. Employees had twice talked her into keeping China. China's parents lost custody because of drug abuse. They had expressed concerns to child protective services about their daughter being abuse in her foster home and asked them to take her out of it.
Livingston was charged with fourteen counts of child abuse and first degree murder. She was sentenced to life in prison.
