Latisha Thomas called 911 and said that her two month old daughter was not breathing. When Paramedics arrived Angel was already dead. She was taken to the Jefferson Parish Coroner's office so an autopsy could be done. The autopsy took several weeks to complete and when it was complete it revealed Angel died of severe malnutrition. Latisha was arrested and charged with second degree murder.
