It makes me angry that other mother's like myself who have entrusted their significant other to care for their child and they have hurt us in the worst way possible. WHY did they take our childern way? The loss of a child is the worst  pain in the world, I would not wish it on my enemies. Jocelyn Robertson I pray that God will embrace and comfort you and eventually give you peace.

 

Jocelyn Roberson left her daughter Ameriah Roberson in the care of her boyfriend James Harris, he was supposed to watch the Ameriah while Roberson went to work. But when Roberson came to pick up her daughter that evening, she was told that Ameriah disappeared. Harris had initially said that he left Ameriah unattended in her car seat, and when he returned, she was gone. As soon as Roberson learned that her daughter was missing she had her boyfriend call police.

 

Two hours before Amierah was reported missing, the body of a toddler was found in a Riverdale park by someone walking in the area. A medical examiner performed an autopsy and determined the body was that of Amierah and she had died from closed head trauma and subdural hematoma as a result of an assault.

 

During questioning, Harris confessed that he killed his girlfriend’s daughter in his apartment and then disposed of her body in a wooded, remote area. Surveillance video show Harris carrying a bag at the site where Amierah’s body was dumped. Harris was charged with first degree murder. I cannot yet find any sentencing information.
